How it started
Flight EK 85
Shreeyash and my story begins in the air, on a flight from Zurich to Dubai. A twist of fate placed me in seat 18A next to Shreeyash Haritashya, a tech entrepreneur from Jaipur, India. He started off talking passionately about artificial intelligence, but our conversation took an unexpected turn towards our shared quest for the perfect bedding. As a restless sleeper, I was frustrated by the scratchy, impersonal bedding I'd endured for years. The commercial, mass-produced options simply couldn't provide the comfort I craved.
I shared my concerns with Shreeyash and we spent the flight imagining bedding that was both luxurious and unique, a reflection of our own desire for restful nights. By the time we landed in Dubai, the idea of creating our own bedding company hadn't left our minds. On 14 January 2024, a simple phone call from Shree was all it took. Finuras was born - a company where every thread tells a story of comfort and individuality.

But once our company was founded, there was no more time to think. We soon drew up our first business plan and developed the first design for the website. At the same time, we started looking for the perfect supplier, which only Shreeyash, with his connection to Indian culture, could provide. And he did. In April 2024, we both signed the contract with our supplier, who is known throughout India for his quality and colours.
But that was not all. On 17 April 2024, Finuras was entered in the commercial register as a sole proprietorship under my name and is now officially a Swiss company! However, we are sure that the step to becoming a limited company will not be long in coming.
